Full-Time support staff generally work from 9AM-5PM. If they work regularly during the week from 9AM-5:30PM, will they just be entering 30 minutes each day as overtime/exception time during a particular week?
Yes, if they have exception time they would be entering the 30 minutes, 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm on a time card.
To enter Overtime hours:
- Sign into the HRMS using your single sign-on.
- Click on the Time and Absence icon.
- On the next screen, click on the pane on the right-hand side and select Manage Time Cards.
- To create a new time card, click on the + (plus) sign.
- Once on the Create Time Card window, follow the regular steps, however, select Overtime in the Payroll Time Type dropdown.
