What happens if I reject an absence request from my employee?

The wording of ‘reject’ can sound harsh, so we recommend that a conversation or an e-mail take place prior to rejecting a leave. Rejecting the request will stop the absence request and the status of that request will say, ‘Denied’. A request can be edited and edited prior to approval if the days requested are not ideal.
