I’ve just spilled a large quantity of chemical outdoors; what should I do?

If you spill a large quantity of chemicals outdoors:

  1. Isolate the area; prevent the chemical from going into drains and the sewer system.
  2. Notify Security at 416-675-8500. They will contact Facilities and Health and Safety Services for spill cleanup or further spill response and will report the spill to the Ministry of Environment.
