Will the system show a negative balance for sick days?

The system will not show a negative sick balance because technically it’s not using a regular sick day. The system uses the employee’s Short-Term Disability (STD) bank, which allows for a sick absence at a reduced pay for some employee types. This occurs once the sick balance is exhausted.
